GIEST-2024 is the 1st IEEE International Conference on Green Industrial Electronics and Sustainable Technologies (GIEST-2024) will be organized by the IEEE Kolkata Section-Silchar Industrial Electronics Society Chapter in association with the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Manipur and IEEE Student Branch, NIT Manipur. This is the flagship annual international conference of the IEEE Kolkata Section-Silchar Industrial Electronics Society Chapter. This international conference will be conducted in hybrid mode with the technical co-sponsorship of IEEE Kolkata Section, IEEE Silchar Subsection, from 25th & 26th October 2024. The main aim of this international conference is to bring researchers from all the esteemed institutes as well as Industries from the globe. Along with researcher professionals and executives from the energy sector, manufacturing industries, and electrical power companies are invited to share ideas and information pertaining to innovations focuses on techniques for handling today\�s challenges.

During her outstanding career she contributed to various technology segments which has successfully steered various projects.
Dr. Sanjeet Kumar Dwivedi

A Fellow of IET (UK) & Senior member, IEEE and working as an Advisor, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S, Brande, Denmark. Prior to this he has worked as a Senior Technology Manager in Green Hydrogen Danish MNC Everfuel A/S from 2021 to 2024. In addition to this, he was Senior Research Leader at Danfoss, Denmark from 2008 to 2021. Prior to this, Dr. Sanjeet was an electrical engineer in Larsen and Toubro, an infrastructure company in India (1991-92), Electrical Engineer in CPWD, Government of India (GoI).

Title of Talk: "Role of Digital Technology in Green Energy Transition"
Prof S. N. Singh obtained his M. Tech. and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, in 1989 and 1995. Presently, Prof Singh is Director, Atal Bihari Bajpayee- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior (MP), India (on leave from Professor (HAG), Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India). Before joining IIT Kanpur as Associate Professor, Dr Singh worked with UP State Electricity Board as Assistant Engineer from 1988 to 1996, with Roorkee University (now IIT Roorkee) as Assistant Professor from 1996 to 2000 and with Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand as Assistant Professor from 2001 to 2002. He was ViceChancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology Gorakhpur during April 2017 to July 2020. Dr Singh received several awards including Young Engineer Award 2000 of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Khosla Research Award of IIT Roorkee, and Young Engineer Award of CBIP New Delhi (India), 1996. Prof Singh is receipt of Humboldt Fellowship of Germany (2005, 2007) and Ottomonsted Fellowship of Denmark (2009-10).
